We are pleased to announce that Tamana Wahidi and Humaira Baktash, whose team won the 1st round at the Harvard Debate UKTOC International Tournament on 24–25 January, have been appointed as coordinators of the Speech & Debate Club for Afghan Girls & Young Women.
Tamana Wahadi is also a Student Ambassador representing the Afghanistan Femate Debate Team in the ISDI Global Debate Project (Harvard–UK Debate/TOC).
Their responsibilities include co-leading the club to expand membership and organize activities under the guidance of Debate Coaches from the Vietnam Public Forum Academy (VPFA).
In addition to training, VPFA can help organize online scrimmage debates between teams within the club, as well as with other clubs in other countries.
